Tourist Machine was founded by Brad Porcellato, (singer / song writer), Len Osanic, (guitarist / studio owner), and Susan Kovacs and Bassist Tom Gourlie from New Westminster B.C. Canada. The Tourist Machine sound was created by blending modern power pop elements with the lighter side of alternative rock. Their first CD titled ONE, (Recorded at Osanic’s Fiasco Bros. Studio) contained 12 songs penned by Porcellato. The core sought the assistance of veteran drummer Rick Fedyk, (BTO, Chrissy Steel, Idle Eyes, Nick Gilder, King Karma) as well as Dave Stone for their first CD. Dave Stone is a keyboardist/synthesizer virtuoso from Toronto, Stone was a member of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Dave also played keys for Three Dog Night during a reunion tour, and was a guest musician on the 1980 Max Webster album, Universal Juveniles. Also played in Canadian bands Symphonic Slam, Solo Flight, BB Gabor.
